7. Connect the black wire (ground/negative) to chassis using a hoop Connector or direct splicing it to (ground/negative) on parking lights/turn signal.
8. Connect the red wire (power/positive) to the power wire on the parking light wiring. On your front parking lights/turn signal there are three wires; one for ground/negative (usually black in color), one for turn signal, and one for parking lights (color of wire varies for different manufactures). Refer to your cars manual or a professional automobile wiring specialist to determine which wire to connect the red wire (positive). You can use a test light or Ohm meter to identify the power wires.

Alternative Installation Methods:

On some vehicles when the headlights are turned on the parking lights go off. Some customers do not like this and they want the halo on all the time. To solve this problem, you would want to wire the LEDs directly to an ignition power source. That way they can have the halo on all the time, day or night. You can do this by connecting power wires into an ignition source like the alternator or generator positive/power wire or directly into the correct fuse location in the fuse box or anywhere else that gets power when the ignition is on. Using a test light or Ohm meter will help in identifying the correct power wire.
Or

Some customers like placing the halo directly to a switch of some kind so they can turn the halo on during a car show or cruise night with the car not running. You would connect the switch directly to the cars battery so that the halos have power whether the car is on or off and solely controlled by the on/off switch. We sell halo on/off switch kits also.
